Don’t Wait to Speak
🤔 Communication that matters rarely lands instantly, but it’s a worthy investment
I speak to my newborn son in complete sentences, which is silly considering he doesn’t know the language.
I do this not because he understands but because he will, so that he will, eventually.
That’s the thing about communicating what matters. It's worth it, even though at first it may seem pointless. You pour meaningful words into silence and get nothing but blank stares and indifference.
Talking to a baby is (re)teaching me that some messages have a delayed return. They plant invisible seeds that grow like bamboo beneath the surface, sometimes taking years to emerge and thrive.
So, speak words that matter, even if the listener doesn’t seem ready. Someone’s future understanding depends on your present investment.
It’s not a waste. It’s a wait.
